PATENT TO BE ISSUED: AQUEOUS SAMPLE HOLDER FOR EPR AND MR
SPECTROSCOPY
A patent application filed July 2004 on the invention of
a multi-channel aqueous sample cell holder for use in a resonator
in which the channels containing the sample to be tested are
separated by dielectric septa, and the surfaces of each septa
are substantially perpendicular to the radio frequency electric
field produced by the resonator. The patent application was
filed by Molecular Specialties, Inc. in the name of the principal
inventors Richard R. Mett, James S. Hyde, and Jason W. Sidabras.
The objective of the invention is to increase the signal produced
by a sample in a spectroscopy resonator. The patent is expected
to be issued by early summer 2006.
